Innovation, technical frontrunners, systematic high quality work, sustainable business conduct – these are only some of the characteristics of the Swedish multinational companies present in Bosnia and Herzegovina. 19.02. 2020 we had the pleasure to meet some of them during a working lunch organised together with the Swedish Embassy in B&H and held at the residence of the Swedish Ambassador to B&H.

Together with the representatives from ABB, Scania, Volvo Trucks, Lindex, Lindab, SKF and Bisnode we took part in the dialogue about the current business climate in B&H. In the dialogue the focus was to exchange information about the experiences in doing business locally and to find common nominators and cooperate in possible improvements important for this profile of companies.

Furthermore, Ambassador Johanna Strömquist presented the new Swedish Export Strategy and the priorities of the Swedish Embassy in B&H. President of the steering board of Swedish Chamber of Commerce in B&H,Vernisa Rejhan Icindic, gave an overview of the current activities in the Chamber.

We look forward to the next steps in collaborating with this cluster of companies that all together mark and strengthen the Swedish brand in our region.
